My bandsaw is located in a very convenient yet awkward place. It’s right at the front of the garage shop: ...and right underneath the garage door. I’m currently installing a permanent dust collection system in the shop, and ...

Hey, thanks Gary! It’s been quite a year too. On October 8th last year my husband got his visa to come to the US; in December we moved here; in February we bought a house and in April we moved in. A summer of job searching got me a position that started in September and gave me the ability to start stocking my shop with tools, and I’m about to start my first small furniture project.

Hi Elizabeth, I’m always searching for good ways to store lumber and stumbled on your post. I can’t help but comment on the really nice looking duct work for the dust collector and how clean your shop is. Well done. Enjoyed your projects too.
